The Elite Hall has hosted thousands of dances since it was built in 1915 and is remembered as a historic meeting place for romantic couples and social gatherings. Today, both the Elite Hall Restoration Committee and the Utah State Big Band Swing Club continues this tradition and hosts several big band swing dances a year. Some of the most popular dances include Jazz Nights! which usually occur in February of each year, and the Patriotic Big Band Swing Dance in July.

Save the Date for Jazz Nights at Elite Hall: February 8, 9, & 10! Dance the night away on Hyrum's historic spring-loaded dance floor while the USU jazz orchestra and ensemble will serenade guests with incredible big band music and dancing. Dances start each night at 7pm, with free dance lessons beginning at 6pm. Tickets are $15 ($10 with student ID) for dancing, or on Friday and Saturday night, enjoy a delicious catered dinner and dancing for $30. Tickets are available at the door.
