The Hyrum Library and Museum Foundation has expanded its umbrella to include the Elite Hall and has changed its name to the Hyrum Heritage Foundation. It is currently obtaining funds to have the exterior masonry stripped, cleaned, repaired, and waterproofed. Meanwhile, Hyrum City has installed a new parking lot complete with lighting and landscaping east of Elite Hall, demonstrating the City's investment into the exterior restoration of the Elite Hall. Additionally, the Hyrum Historic Preservation Commission has obtained a matching grant from Utah's Historic Preservation Office to obtain a matching grant to have architectural drawings for a proposed east-side annex drawn. The new annex is an excellent naming opportunity for a potential donor and will provide accessibility, office space, a new kitchen area, and flex-space to make the hall more functional while preserving the integrity of the historic structure.
