As part of the centennial celebration of Elite Hall, we are raising funds to restore the building to its original early-twentieth-century elegance. Over the next five years, we will be hosting events, writing grants, and engaging in other fundraising efforts to restore the exterior, make the hall accessible, upgrade heating, cooling, and electrical systems, update the bathrooms and serving areas, make seismic upgrades, and finally restore the interior of the hall (see rendering). Upon completion, the Elite Hall will once again be “declared the best dance hall in this part of the country” as it was reported on the day of its opening by Hyrum’s South Cache Courier newspaper in 1915.

Our Free Family Movie Nights run November - March each winter. Movies start at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30. Wear comfy clothes and don’t forget your blankets, pillows, beanbags, camp chairs, etc. Bring your own dinner/treats.
Movie titles will be announced a few weeks before each movie night on our social media accounts and websites.

Ring in the New Near dancing on Utah’s only remaining functional spring-loaded dance floor at the New York New Year’s Eve celebration! Join us from 7:00–10:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31st as we dance into 2025 on New York time. That means we’ll watch the ball drop live from New York and celebrate with confetti poppers at 10:00 pm. All tickets are $10 for ages 16 and up, 15 and younger are free and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Visit hyrumcitymuseum.org to pre-purchase tickets or buy them at the door. All proceeds will be reinvested in continued restoration efforts.
